Who started Jal Jeevan Mission :

What is the salary of Jal Jeevan Mission?

Jal Shakti Ministry :
The Government of India has formed a ministry to accomplish this mission named Jal Shakti Ministry. Its responsibility in the cabinet has been given to Rajasthan MP Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The first job of this ministry is to conserve the water sources present in the country. According to a report, water resources, river development, Ganga rejuvenation, drinking water and sanitation departments can also be included in the new Jal Shakti Ministry. For this, help of MNREGA scheme can be taken. A meeting has been held between the Government of Israel and the Government of India with NITI Aayog to save water sources. In Israel, drinking water is being supplied to homes through pipelines.
